Statement on reported COVID-19 positive case at Mujin

On December 29, it was confirmed that one of the employees at Mujin, Inc. in Koto-ku, Tokyo tested positive for COVID-19. Based on our investigation, we understand that the employee interacted with one business partner in person during the relevant contagious period whom we have already notified swiftly. The employee did not interact with other Mujin employees during the same period. 

 Date tested positive: December 29, 2020
Date confirmed symptoms: December 28, 2020
Last date at work: December 25, 2020

On January 13, it was confirmed that one of the employees at Mujin, Inc. tested positive for COVID-19. Based on our investigation, we understand that the employee did not have any “close contacts” within customers, partners or other Mujin employees.

 Date confirmed symptoms: January 11, 2021
 Last date at work: January 11, 2021

On January 14, it was confirmed that one of the employees at Mujin, Inc. tested positive for COVID-19. Based on our investigation, we understand that the employee did not have any “close contacts” within customers or partners. There is a suspected “close contact” in the company, we are ordering the employee to work remotely from home, and waiting for the relevant health authorities’ instructions.

 Last date at work: January 13, 2021

Per the relevant health authorities’ instructions, the suspected “close contact” above turned out to be not a “close contact.”
